Cycling photography has a great history of portraying riders in the snow. From Darcy Keifel’s iconic image of Andy Hampsten climbing the Gavia in a blizzard back to the sport’s golden era of Eddy Merckx, when riders would regularly climb mountains through 10 foot high channels of snow.
